Celebrate Pride Fair Day in Wangaratta

In 2022, LINE Wangaratta (LGBTQIA+ In The North East) proudly delivered the region’s first LGBTQIA+ celebration with its inaugural Pride Gala, a family event that brought the community together with music, comedy, drag, food, and festivities. 

For the third consecutive year running, and now supported through Victoria’s Pride, a partnership between the Victorian Government and Midsumma, LINE Wangaratta is bringing back Pride Fair Day for 2024. 

From 4.00 pm on Friday 9th February, LINE Wangaratta will host a fabulous evening at Batchelors Green, with incredible live music, performers, interactive activities and food as part of Victoria’s Pride Regional Activations Program. 

This year’s event is expected to be the largest and the most impressive held yet. Offering a safe and inclusive space for every member of the community, the event will showcase talent from a sensational lineup of local and well-known musicians and performers including Mieke Louise and Band, as well as more than 50 stalls from local businesses, community groups, and organisations. 

Children will have the time of their lives exploring the endless fun and interactive activities. Face painters, jumping castles, a bubble house and lawn games, to name just a few, will entertain kids of all ages so their caregivers can sit back and enjoy some great food and live performances.

The Pride Fair Day is the perfect excuse to try a world of cuisines from the array of food trucks delivering mouth-watering local and international foods. Pack a picnic rug and invite your friends and loved ones for an exciting evening celebrating the region’s vibrancy.
